La British Hypertension Society vient de publier ses nouvelles recommandations pour la prise en charge de l’HTA en 2004 (BHS-IV). Vous en trouverez en lien le résumé.L’une des originalités des recommandations est de proposer une amélioration de la prise en charge qui paraît aujourd’hui largement insuffisante en monothérapie, par un algorithme fondé sur une nouvelle classification des antihypertenseurs en quatre groupes AB/CD qui peuvent être astucieusement associés deux à deux en quatre étapes successives….
